We are committed to adopting higher standards of accountability and transparency to generate a positive social and environmental impact.
What is a Benefit Corporation?
We have been a Benefit Corporation since 2019: we balance the creation of economic value with the creation of social and environmental value.
Benefit Corporations represent an evolution of the concept of a company, integrating the goal of having a positive impact on society and the biosphere in addition to profit targets into their corporate purpose.
In 2016, Italy became the first country after the USA to introduce the Benefit Corporation (in Italian, Società Benefit) model to enable entrepreneurs, managers, shareholders and investors to include the protection of the company's mission in the corporate charter and stand out on the market with a new legal form that creates shared long-term value.
Goals beyond profit
This innovative corporate form allows us to demonstrate to all our stakeholders how we operate in a transparent manner.
As a Benefit Corporation, we are required to submit an Impact Report each year. This document, integrated into the Sustainability Report, summarises what benefits we have generated in the year and defines future objectives.
